Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 2 July 2026

1. Purpose

This policy protects our customers, our network, and the wider internet. It applies to everything you run on or transmit through VeloxMedia Services. Where this policy is breached we may suspend first and investigate second when the breach is actively harming others.

2. Illegal use

The Services may not be used to host, store, transmit, or link to content or activity that is illegal in the jurisdiction of the server or your own — including but not limited to: child sexual abuse material (zero tolerance, reported to authorities), fraud and phishing, sale of illegal goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights.

3. Network abuse

Prohibited: denial-of-service attacks or participation in them, port scanning or unauthorised penetration testing of third parties, IP spoofing, BGP hijacking, running open resolvers/open relays/other reflection-amplification services, botnet command and control, and malware distribution.

4. Email & messaging

No unsolicited bulk email (spam), no mail relaying for unverified third parties, no harvested lists. Outbound SMTP (port 25) is restricted by default and enabled per-server on request with justification. Bulk sending must comply with CAN-SPAM/PECR/GDPR as applicable and use proper SPF/DKIM.

5. Resource fairness

Plans include dedicated compute, but shared components (network, storage I/O) must be used fairly. Sustained activity that degrades other customers — e.g. continuous 100% I/O saturation, crypto-mining on unmetered plans where prohibited by the plan terms, or traffic patterns resembling abuse — may be rate-limited after notice.

6. Content standards

We are content-neutral within the law, but the following are not allowed on our platform: content that incites violence, doxxing services, and deceptive impersonation of others. Adult content is permitted only where lawful and properly age-gated.

7. Enforcement

Violations may result in warning, traffic filtering, suspension, or termination, proportionate to severity and recurrence. Where abuse is automated or actively harming third parties we may act immediately and notify you afterwards. Abuse reports: [email protected] (or the abuse contact published for our IP space).
